Fantastic experience!! If you are looking for some quiet time in a beautifully presented restaurant this is the place to go. We went for breakfast and the whole experience was superb. Bacon was cooked to perfection with the French toast and the spinach was definitely cooked with something that gave it a home cooked meal taste. The staff were friendly and very informative about the area. I looked at the dinner menu which offered plenty of traditional French cuisine. Highly recommend Cote. If we weren’t travelling through I would definitely have been back to try dinner.

Cote is an absolute gem! I celebrated my 40th birthday here and couldn’t have chosen a better spot. This was our 3rd visit. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with just the right balance of elegance and comfort. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made the experience extra special with their thoughtful service. The food was exceptional - every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted divine. The wine selection was also impressive, perfectly complementing the meal. If you’re looking for a place with amazing food, wonderful service, and a charming setting, Cote is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We were there for a wedding reception. It was a really lovely restaurant, the area used by the wedding party intimate and cosy. The food was absolutely delicious, I heard no complaints from anyone. The wine was really quite good. The waiting staff were great. We'd return that's for sure.

We had lunch in Cote. Ordered two course meal. Both starters and main courses were very nice. Fish dish was absolutely delicious, highly recommend to try.

Our hotel had a sudden power cut so we looked around Lewes and remembered this chain from another town. The welcome we received was fantastic and genuine... the ambiance was wonderful and the Christmas menu was absolutely superb! picture is of the Turkey Ballotine; quite sublime. Everything about our experience here was wonderful and the management should be proud of their staff as everyone was happy and helpful. Recommended. p.s. the Christmas cocktail was excellent too!

We celebrated our son and future daughter in-laws engagement here. The staff were brilliant and treated them to a glass of bubbles and cute congratulations motif on their desserts. It was great to have an exclusive little room to ourselves and we felt unhurried and relaxed. Thank you

We were a party of 12 who had travelled from London, the south coast and Dubai. We had arranged to meet here for a birthday celebration. After reading the reviews we decided on Cote Lewes. We couldn’t have chosen better. We had to push the time back due to flight delays but thankfully it was not a problem at all. The atmosphere was very chilled and the team led by Suzi were absolutely fantastic. They could not have been more attentive. The food was just perfect and it was such a lovely time that I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful place. Suzi is amazing and thanks to her efforts our day could not have been any better. I cannot praise highly enough. Thank you so much to all the team. .

I dined at the Lewes Cote this evening and had a wonderful experience. The food came out promptly and was delicious and great value. We had a lovely, bubbly server who really added to the evening. The whole team of servers were attentive and friendly. Would recommend paying a visit when you’re in beautiful Lewes.
